Grounded in Space – our first album, was released on March 08 2009. It was a labour of love, an adventure that brought the band together and made us believe in ourselves. The album made people sit up and take notice, propelling us into a higher dimension. It led to us making thousands of new fans while also establishing our credentials in the independent music space as a serious music outfit. It is exciting to share these songs all over again with our fans on vinyl.
Re-releasing Grounded in Space in this format is a wonderful feeling for all of us and we owe a tonne of gratitude to Koushik and Black Groove Music for dreaming this dream.
A vinyl package allows us to share a lot more than just the music – in the form of the booklet you are now holding in your hands. We had a lot of fun reminiscing and jotting down our memories of making this record and the stories behind the songs. We unearthed old pics and handwritten lyric pages we hadn’t seen in over a decade! All those beautiful feelings came rushing back. For all those listeners who loved this album when it came out on a CD, and to those who are going to hear it for the first time – we hope you enjoy the ride!
